What sets you apart from other good builders on the Central coast?

We are proud to be considered one of the best builders on the Central Coast. We not only produce high quality projects but also happy clients by exceeding their expectations. Also, we guide our clients through the process so it is an enjoyable and smooth process for you.

How much does it cost to build a new home on the Central Coast?

Unfortunately as a custom home builder we don’t have a set building cost for new homes on the Central Coast. All of our projects are different and specific to the home owners. We believe custom homes are the best building option as you can work within your land topography, any local planning constraints and lifestyle requirements. With this in mind, we can not give you a square meter rate. Instead we give a fully customized fixed price quotation. How will I be able to keep updated on the construction progress of my new home?

Sometimes you are unable to visit the site due to work commitments, weather or the location. For example you are building your holiday home or traveling for work. We understand this and pride ourselves on keeping all of our clients up to date. That being said, we have a client portal which we constantly update with photos, progress notes and more. You have your own log in details and can access it via our website.

How can I find the best builders on the Central Coast? (Hint: it’s us!)

But in short, when choosing a builder it is important to ask questions such as:

Does the builder hold the correct insurances and licences? Are there any current or past building disputes with the building commission? Has the builder declared bankruptcy? Does the builder use high quality materials?

Secondly, search their website, Google Business and social media for testimonials from past clients.

Another thing to look for are industry awards. If they have won an industry award, such as MBA or HIA, then you are on the right track. We are proud to say we have won two years in a row for a Custom Home of the year category with the Master Builders Association.

Is B&K Developments fully licensed and insured?

We are a fully licenced builder based on the Central Coast NSW. Our insurance and association memberships are current and up to date.

 

How will I know how much my new home will cost to build? And will you go over budget?

Once we know all of your building requirements, expectations and specifications we will be able to provide you with a detailed quotation. With a focus on custom homes and with years of experience in residential building we can provide a fixed lump sum quotation that will allow us to stay within budget.

When comparing quotes be sure to check out inclusions and allowances to ensure there is an equal comparison.

Where are you located and what areas do you service?

B&K Developments is conveniently based in Berkeley Vale on the Central Coast. Servicing the Central Coast and Newcastle regions we are centrally based for all of our clients requiring a new home, addition or renovation. So whether you are building in Pearl Beach or Booker Bay in the south or The Entrance, Blue Bay and Newcastle in the North we have you covered. Even all areas in between like MacMasters Beach, Avoca Beach, Terrigal, Wamberal, Erina Heights, Holgate and Forresters Beach. How do I know what is included in my quote?

We will provide you with an extensive, customised quotation covering inclusions such as Council requirements, Basix commitments, any BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) requirements, external and internal inclusions, as well as prime cost and provisional allowances. We will we also itemise any items that are not included in our tender so that you have a full understanding of what is and what is not included.

How long will it take to build my home?

Whilst we aim to complete every project in the most time effective way, every custom home is different. This is the beauty of having a custom home build. With this in mind, it is difficult to predict the time frame until we know what your project involves. Contact us to discuss your custom home and we can guide you through the process.
